Starting from point clouds the functionalities of DRAW module allow to obtain bi-dimensional graphic representations, with high resolution renderings of point clouds, and very light three-dimensional graphic representations. Plans, sections and elevations can be directly generated from the scanning of the surveyed object or from the 3D model in short times.

DRAW module provides a set of commands which allows to generate, starting from the points clouds, graphic representations both bi-dimensional and three-dimensional. In detail:Plans example

Bi-dimensional graphic representations

  • DRAW toolbar: commands to compute planar and vertical sections directly on point cloud, from which final plans as well as transversal and longitudinal final sections can be elaborated.
  • DRAW II toolbar: commands to obtain automatically plans, sections, elevations, axonometric projections, renderings of point clouds, cutaways from the 3D model and point clouds.

Three-dimensional graphic representations

  • DRAW toolbar: commands to three-dimensionally modelling from planar and vertical sections generated on point clouds or from polylines and 3D polylines drawn on point clouds. Such modelling method gives very light results and allows the user to decide the detail level. Such technique allows also to realize the joints between different model parts which can obtained with the various modelling techniques provided by CloudCUBE.
